One! International Poverty Relief (One! International) is a registered Canadian charity; a non-government, non-profit, non-sectarian organization working in India.

We depend on the financial support primarily from individuals, other organizations and some businesses.

We strive to assist children, youth and families to achieve their potential and become responsible members of society. Basic education for children is a must. However, in order to accomplish this, education must also be extended to the older population by conveying educations’ necessity, and also to try and break the parent’s dependence on their children for the food and money they can earn by begging or working under-aged.

In order to provide quality education, other problems must be faced simultaneously. Basic needs, such as nutrition, housing, medical, and attention to family social problems (such as alcoholism and abuse) must be addressed.
Programs need to strengthen families and prevent the abandonment of children. Services should be administered through trust, respect, integrity, commitment, and caring. Children need to be encouraged to recognize and express their abilities, interests and talents.

We believe that education is an inherent right and the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
